OXFORD, AL – The Calhoun County Sports Hall of Fame will host its inaugural Pickleball Tournament on June 21–22, 2025, at the Oxford Lake Pickleball Courts, located at 401 McCullars Lane in Oxford.
This new event marks the Hall of Fame’s first foray into hosting a pickleball competition, inviting players from across the region to participate in a weekend of friendly yet competitive play. The tournament is open to the public, and registration costs $25 per player for one event, with an option to register for a second event for an additional $10.
Participants must register online ahead of the event. The tournament will feature various skill levels and brackets to accommodate a wide range of experience levels.
The Oxford Lake Pickleball Courts provide a scenic and accessible location for the competition, reinforcing the area’s growing interest in the sport.
Organizers hope the tournament will become an annual tradition that supports both the Hall of Fame’s mission and the continued growth of pickleball in Calhoun County.
