JACKSONVILLE, AL — A special fundraising event will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fiddler’s Green Event Venue, located at 3105 Roy Webb Road in Jacksonville, to raise awareness and support for Camille Place, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitating young survivors of human trafficking.
The event promises to be an inspiring and informative evening, complete with catered refreshments and guest speakers who are passionate advocates for victims of exploitation.
Among the featured speakers will be David Chaltas, an author and educator with over 90 published works spanning topics such as Christian principles, history, and personal life revelations. Chaltas is also a dedicated advocate for missing children and describes himself foremost as a “redeemed sinner.”
Also speaking is Chris Ziebach, founder of Camille Place. Ziebach began developing her vision in 2014 after a series of vivid dreams and personal encounters led her to discover the disturbing reality of human trafficking in Alabama and across the country. Since opening its doors in August 2023, Camille Place has already served 18 girls, including pregnant teens and one young mother with a two-month-old baby.
Camille Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides comprehensive care and therapeutic support for girls ages 6 to 19 who have been victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking. Residents receive holistic care—ranging from equine therapy and gardening to baking and life-skills training—in a nurturing, faith-based environment focused on restoring spirit, soul, and body.
Fiddler’s Green invites the public to attend this meaningful event, learn more about Camille Place’s mission, and consider how they can support the ongoing work of healing and hope.
