Anniston, AL – The Community Actors’ Studio Theatre (CAST) will present its upcoming mainstage production of The Diary of Anne Frank at the JSU McClellan Theatre in Anniston.
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, February 26 at 7 p.m., Friday, February 27 at 7 p.m., Saturday, February 28 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 1 at 2 p.m. The opening night performance on Thursday will be a “pay what you want” evening, with admission accepted at the door.
The production will be staged at the JSU McClellan Theatre, located at 100 Gamecock Drive in Anniston. Theatre doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military members, and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased online at www.castalabama.org or at the door prior to each show, based on availability.
CAST noted the play brings to life one of the most well-known and haunting stories of the twentieth century and serves as a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit. The production tells the story of Anne Frank and her family during their time in hiding in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, offering audiences a dramatic retelling of the historical diary that has resonated with readers and theatergoers around the world.
The production continues CAST’s mission of providing live theatrical performances and arts programming for the region.
