Anniston, AL – The City of Anniston released their 2023 brush pickup schedule and information on the 2023 free disposal day dates. Please note, the brush pickup schedule does not pertain to loose leaf pickup. For more information on either of these topics, please visit the city website.
The brush pickup calendar is colored by week according to the area of our city that the street department will be working through. The Brush map corresponds to the colored calendar; thereby showing each area the team will be in each week.
In addition, months with a red star icon are months with free disposal days. The days for free disposal will be circled in red in those months.
The city will also be providing two recycling stations this year. One will be located at the Norwood Hodges Community Center and the other will be at the Anniston City Meeting Center.
This year, the City of Anniston will be offering free disposal days 8 months out of the year. During the disposal periods, one roll-off dumpster will be placed in each of Anniston’s four (4) wards, allowing citizens to dispose of their items free of charge!
FREE DISPOSAL DAY TIMES & DATES:
- Feb.17th & 18th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- March 17th & 18th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- May 19th & 20th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- June 16th & 17th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- Aug. 18th & 19th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- Sept. 15th & 16th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- Nov. 17th & 18th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- Dec. 15th & 16th | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
During each of these disposal periods, the city will provide one roll-off dumpster at each of the following locations (4 roll-offs in total during each disposal day):
