Anniston, AL – The city of Anniston wanted to make all aware of two (2) upcoming street closures related to events happening this weekend.
(1) On Friday, June 23rd, 11th Street, starting at Noble Street, will be closed from its intersection with Gurnee Avenue to its intersection with Moore Avenue. This closure is for Main Street Anniston’s Fourth Friday event. The street closures will begin at 4:00 PM on 06/23/23, and the streets will reopen on 06/23/23 at 10:00 PM.
(2) On Saturday, June 24th, the streets around Zinn Park will close for the annual Heritage Festival. The streets to be closed are as follows: West 13th Street to Gurnee Avenue, Gurnee Avenue to West 14th Street, West 14th Street to Moore Avenue, and Moore Avenue to West 13th Street. The closures will occur at approximately 6:30 AM on 06/24/23, and streets will reopen after 11:00 PM.
