Anniston, AL – Please be aware of lane closures while traveling southbound on Quintard Avenue this Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, beginning at 7:00 AM and lasting through the afternoon on both days.
These right-hand lane closures will occur while trees are being removed from the sidewalks to the right of Quintard (see the map for the areas with double lane closures and single lane closures).
The closures will be between Quintard Avenue, from its intersection with East 9th Street to its intersection with East 15th Street. The far-right hand lane will be open at all of these intersections, however please expect delays until the work is complete.
The trees being removed have reached the end of their lifespan, and city leadership is currently working on the replacement plan.
