The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Calhoun County until 10:00 pm October 6, 2021.  Due to this watch the City of Oxford has opened their storm shelters. Lorie Denton, Spokeswoman for Oxford issued the following release.

The NWS has issued a Tornado Watch for Calhoun County until 10pm today, 10/6/2021.


All storm shelters are now open until 10pm today, 10/6/2021. 


An update will be made If there are any changes to our current shelter openings or if any further Watches or Warnings are issues for Calhoun County.
