Anniston, AL – On Wednesday, August 2nd from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm the Anniston Museum and Gardens is holding a Summer Shell Dig. Do you like to play in the sand, build sandcastles, and scour the beach for shells? You may not be able to take a trip to the beach, but the muse may have one more opportunity for you to enjoy the sand. Join them in the Learning Lodge to dig in the sand, discover shells you would see on Gulf Coast beaches, and create beach-themed art before heading back to school.
This program is included with museum admission and free for members.
