Congressman Mike Rogers Tours Goodgame Company Job Site in Oxford as Part of ABC Alabama’s 2024 Congressional Tour

CONGRESSMAN MIKE ROGERS VISITS GOODGAME COMPANY JOBSITE IN OXFORD FOR ABC ALABAMA’S HARD HAT TOUR

Oxford, AL – The Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama (ABC) continued their 2024 Congressional Tour with Congressman Mike Rogers visiting an active Goodgame Company job site at Associated Metal Cast in Oxford. During his visit, Rep. Rogers engaged with industry leaders and construction workers, discussing key issues facing the construction industry.

Rep. Rogers expressed his satisfaction with the visit, stating, “I was happy to tour the new Associated Metal Cast warehouse facility in Oxford. Sites like this showcase how business and growth-friendly Alabama is.” He emphasized the challenges posed by federal regulations, adding, “Far too often, Washington gets in the way of industry growth and piles on overburdensome regulations. With the help of industry leaders like these, we can work together to keep Alabama prosperous.”

The tour highlighted the progress of the Associated Metal Cast warehouse, showcasing the company’s role in supporting Alabama’s economic development. Jason A. Goodgame, Corporate Vice President of Goodgame Company, shared his thoughts on the event: “East Alabama has a great opportunity to be our state’s next big economic engine. It was great to showcase some of that progress with Congressman Rogers and discuss our concerns about the detrimental policies coming out of Washington that could cripple our industry.”

The ABC Alabama’s Hard Hat Tour serves as a platform for Alabama’s federal delegation to gain firsthand insight into the construction industry.
