    • Patty Tiller with The Arc of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties stated how much she appreciated the support she has received from the commissioners as individuals and as a group. She also thanked Commissioner Shears who is a former board member of the Arc.

    • Amanda Draper was appointed.
  • Resubdivision Approval – Thomas Family  – Unanimously Approved
    • The property has been reviewed and inspect4ed by the engineering department and meets the provisions of the resubdivision regulations of Calhoun County.
  • OPEB Memorandum of Participation – Unanimously Approved
    • Melissia Wood will be recipient.
  • Department of Youth Services Resolution – United Way/Success Academy – Unanimously Approved
    • The grant amount is $246,100.
  • MOA – Calhoun County Mental Health Officers – Unanimously Approved
    • Agreement between Calhoun County, the Sherif’s department, and the Calhoun County Mental Health Advisory Board.
  • Board Appointment – Highland Health Systems Board – Unanimously Approved
    • Tobi Burt is appointed to fill the unexpired seat of Steven Johnson who was removed from his seat after a conflict was determined.
  • Public Comments
    • Linda Hern with the Chamber of Commerce reminded all of the upcoming Small Business awards and encouraged nominations.
    • Audrey Maxwell with Chamber of Commerce spoke about the community involvement between local and neighboring counties and businesses. They are working with a spirit of cooperation to try to increases tourism in the area.
    • Terry Howell spoke to remind all of the Adoption event at Picketts this Saturday 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm and to make sure everybody knew that starting Monday microchipping was available for $20.
