      • Dr. David West spoke to introduce Crystal McPherson. Mrs. McPherson presented Courtney Robinson with the 4H Scholarship  –  Mrs. McPherson explained that they have had a lot of 4H activity this year.  Courtney has received the Alabama 4H Foundation Scholarship. She will be going to Calhoun Community College with a degree in physical therapy . She also wanted to say how proud they were of Courtney.

      • Dr. West also asked volunteer Matt Carroll who is the 4H volunteer of the year to recognize the team that went to the state championship.

      • County Transportation Plan Amendment
        • This is to modify the plan to include the Rocky Hollow Bridge project at a cost of $200,000.
    • Sub-recipient Agreement – Unanimously Approved
      • ARPA/Corning Tank Project
        • This agreement allows ARPA funds to be used on the Corning Tank Project with Federal reimbursements up to $2,500,000. This will cover the new water transmission mains, a booster pump station, and a 200,000 gallon elevated water storage tank with access road.
    • Surplus Resolution – Unanimously Approved
  • Public Comments
    • Kim Boyd with the Calhoun County Chamber thanked the commission for their support and discussed  upcoming projects.
    • Sheriff Matthew Wade wanted to note that Crystal McPherson while a great asset with 4H is also married to a deputy and Wellborn school resource officer. He stated they were both servants to the community.
