Jacksonville State University invites the community to a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Nov. 4, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Kennamer Hall. Moderna vaccines, including the booster shot, will be available. Sign up online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/covid-19-vaccine-clinic-tickets-195835969657.

 

We are pleased to announce that JSU will offer a COVID-19 vaccination clinic with the Moderna vaccine on Thursday, November 4th. Moderna Covid-19 vaccines, including the third dose, will be available to students, staff, faculty and community members who qualify. Appointments will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kennamer Hall.

JSU will administer vaccines to anyone 18+ who answers no to the following screening questions:

Do you have today or have you had at any time in the last 10 days a fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea?

Have you tested positive for and/or been diagnosed with COVID-19 infection within the last 10 days?

Have you had a severe allergic reaction (e.g. needed epinephrine or hospital care) to a previous dose of this vaccine or to any of the ingredients in this vaccine?

Have you had any COVID-19 Antibody therapy within the last 90 days (e.g. Regeneron, Bamlanivimab, COVID Convalescent Plasma, etc.)

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above screening questions, please consult with your healthcare provider before making an appointment.

Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time and not before.
