On Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 2:30 pm come to the Anniston Library in the Ayers Room to see the United Daughters of the Confederacy. They will honor present day military veterans with a medal. The veterans must have had an ancestor that fought for the Confederacy. No pictures may be made during the ceremony. The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County provides equitable access to knowledge and supports the employment, educational, and recreational needs of the citizens of Anniston and Calhoun County.
