ANNISTON, AL — The Diversity Theater Company is set to bring a heartfelt and humorous production to the stage with Through a Window, an original comedy-drama written by Maury Evans. The play, which explores themes of love, family, and connection during the pandemic, will be performed at First Christian Church of Anniston from March 13-16, 2025.
Set in the midst of the pandemic, Through a Window follows two women living in assisted living facilities—one in San Francisco and the other in Birmingham—who devise a scheme to bring their gay sons together before they leave this world. The story, both touching and comedic, delves into the power of love and human resilience in times of crisis.
Produced by Diversity Theater Company, an LGBTQ+ themed theatre group in Anniston, the show promises to offer a unique and inclusive theatrical experience. Performances are scheduled for March 13-15 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on March 16 at 2:00 p.m.
