Oxford, AL – On Monday, May 6th, at 6:00 pm, Oxford Performing Arts Center will play host to an electrifying blend of science and entertainment as Doktor Kaboom takes the stage. Created by David Epley, Doktor Kaboom promises an evening of laughter, learning, and explosive experiments.
David Epley’s journey into the world of science entertainment began in his basement laboratory in Charlotte, NC. With a background in chemistry and physics, Epley’s passion for science led him to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. However, it was during his pursuit of a degree in Chemical Engineering that he discovered his love for performing.
For the past 14 years, Epley, in his alter ego as Doktor Kaboom, has captivated audiences worldwide with over 2,000 live shows, delighting more than 2 million students and families. His unique blend of humor and scientific prowess keeps audiences riveted and rolling with laughter throughout the performance.
Attendees can expect a sidesplitting journey through increasingly spectacular (and often successful) science experiments designed to involve, excite, educate, and entertain. From chemical reactions that dazzle the eye to physics experiments that defy expectations, Doktor Kaboom promises an unforgettable evening for all ages.
Tickets for Doktor Kaboom’s performance are available now and can be purchased through the Oxford Performing Arts Center website or box office. Don’t miss this explosive evening of science and entertainment that’s sure to leave you both enlightened and entertained!
