Anniston, AL – On Tuesday, June 27th Dolores Hydock Presents: Oh Henry! The Life and Writing of William Sydney Porter at the Anniston Public Library at 2:00 pm. O. Henry” is one of the most famous pseudonyms in American literature. It belonged to William Sydney Porter, who is often called “the master of the American short story.” In this program, Will Porter’s personal story is interwoven with updated tellings of some of the literary gems written by one of the most popular writers of his day. This is a free program open to the public. The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County provides equitable access to knowledge and supports the employment, educational, and recreational needs of the citizens of Anniston and Calhoun County.
