Donate Blood and Save Lives During EMS Week and Trauma Awareness Month – Jacksonville Public Safety Complex

Glood Drive and Save Lives

Jacksonville, AL – In honor of EMS Week and Trauma Awareness Month, the Piedmont Public Safety Department and Jacksonville Public Safety are partnering to encourage community members to donate blood and help save lives. Blood donations are critically needed year-round, and your contribution can make a real difference in emergencies, trauma cases, and medical treatments.

This year, donors have the unique opportunity to give blood for their choice of either the police or fire department. Your donation will count toward the World Police and Fire Games Blood Drive Competition, a friendly contest designed to raise awareness and increase life-saving donations in our communities.

The blood drive will take place on Friday, May 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Jacksonville Public Safety Complex. To thank donors for their generosity, everyone who gives blood will receive a $25 e-gift card and an official World Games T-shirt.

Whether you’ve donated before or are considering it for the first time, this event is a perfect chance to support your local first responders and help those in need. Your single donation can save multiple lives—please join us in making a difference.

Roll up your sleeve, donate blood, and be a hero in your community!
