Both of the school’s soccer teams complete historic double unbeaten regular seasons after respective victories over Faith Christian
Donoho soccer pulled off the rare double Friday night as, for the first time in school history, both its girls and boys teams completed unbeaten regular seasons with their respective wins over Faith Christian.
The girls won 6-0 to finish 15-0. The boys won 5-2 to finish 12-0-2. Both are headed to playoffs May 3 where the girls will host Collinsville and the boys will host Susan Moore.
Erin Turley had three goals and an assist to lead the Lady Falcons’ effort. Sam Wakefield, Anna Grace Jones aand Tosin Sanusi scored the other goals.
Drew Williamson scored twice for the Donoho boys. Grant Steed, Riley Johnson and Samuel Johnson had the Falcons’ other goals.
The Falcons scored their third goal of the game with one second left in the first half. Then they came out in the second half and scored in the first 30 seconds. [*** read more]
