Anniston, AL — A new monthly tradition is kicking off in the heart of downtown as The Downtown Market and Main Street Anniston present the inaugural 1st Tuesday Market on May 6. The event will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 126 W. 11th Street in Anniston.
Designed to bring together local farmers, artisans, food vendors, and small businesses, the market aims to promote community engagement and economic growth in the city’s historic downtown district.
The 1st Tuesday Market is a collaborative effort sponsored by the City of Anniston, Main Street Anniston, Ted’s Carpet and Floor, and Spire. Organizers say the market will offer a lively mix of fresh produce, handmade crafts, specialty foods, and entertainment, providing a family-friendly atmosphere for all ages.
“This is an exciting opportunity to support local vendors while enjoying a vibrant community event,” organizers said. “We’re proud to have strong support from our sponsors and the city in making this a regular feature in downtown Anniston.”
