Oxford, AL – The East Alabama Boat Show is set to return to Quintard Mall from April 10–12, 2026, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to explore a wide range of boats and outdoor products at no cost.
The event will run Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Sunday hours scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. Admission and parking will be free for all attendees.
Organizer Thomas Shelton said this year’s show will feature three marine dealers presenting a variety of watercraft, including pontoons, bass boats, wake boats, and personal watercraft. Participating dealers include Sylacauga Marine, Poor House Branch Marina, and Wedowee Marine, each bringing different brands and specialties.
In addition to the marine dealers, more than 25 vendors are expected to participate, offering a variety of outdoor and recreational products. The Tackle Box is anticipated to provide closeout-priced fishing gear, while other vendors will showcase items such as coolers, apparel, and related accessories. Coffee trucks will be available on site, though no food trucks are currently planned.
Shelton said vendor spaces are being made available to local businesses at no cost, with the condition that offerings do not directly compete with existing retailers inside the mall.
“All local businesses that would like to participate are encouraged to reach out to me,” Shelton said. “I have spaces available for all sorts of vendors.”
According to Shelton, the event was created to provide a more accessible alternative to larger, convention-style boat shows, which often come with higher costs for both vendors and attendees.
“I wanted to put a show on that would allow dealers the opportunity to sell a product at a competitive price and allow anybody to come and check the boats out as well,” Shelton said. “It’s a 100 percent free event, and it’s going to allow them to give great pricing and great finance options because everyone’s coming in with a low cost of entry.”
The event is hosted by the City of Oxford in partnership with Quintard Mall, located at 700 South Quintard Avenue.
