Anniston, AL – As the new year unfolds, EastAlabama Works is gearing up to empower professionals with essential leadership skills through a series of training classes scheduled for January, February, and March 2024. Registration is now open for these informative sessions hosted by the Calhoun County Area Chamber and Visitors Center at the Anniston Regional Fire Training Center.

Perfect for individuals new to a company’s leadership team, those on the cusp of a supervisory promotion, or seasoned supervisors looking to refine their leadership acumen, the Leadership Skills Training classes are a valuable resource.

The upcoming classes include:

– January 17-18, 2024 (LS1): Anniston Regional Fire Training Center
– February 15, 2024 (LS2): Anniston Regional Fire Training Center
– March 6, 2024 (LS3): Anniston Regional Fire Training Center

East AlabamaWorks Leadership Skills Training covers a spectrum of leadership responsibilities crucial for guiding teams to success. AIDT’s Leadership Skills 1, 2, and 3 classes focus on the essential skills leaders need to be effective. While Leadership Skills 1 is recommended as the initial course, participants have the flexibility to take the classes in any order. Upon completion of each class, attendees will undergo certification tests resulting in an AIDT Leadership Skills certification.

To facilitate accessibility, the training classes are open to employees from any business or industry who are ready for, or already in, leadership roles. With limited seats available, prospective attendees are urged to register early to secure their spot in these invaluable sessions.

While the training itself is provided free of charge, there is a nominal fee to cover the cost of lunch, drinks, and snacks. The two-day LS1 classes are priced at $35 per person, while single-day LS2 and LS3 classes are available at $20 per person.
