Anniston, AL – Attention all pet owners in Anniston and surrounding areas! Bully4You Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc. is proud to announce a special event aimed at enhancing the safety and security of your beloved furry companions. On Saturday, May 4th, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, join us at 3200 McClellan Blvd in Anniston for a Free Microchipping Event in collaboration with Rockin P Rescue.
At Bully4You, they understand the importance of ensuring the well-being and protection of pets. Microchipping provides a reliable method of identification, significantly increasing the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners. As part of our commitment to animal welfare, we are thrilled to offer FREE microchipping services for all pets, along with complimentary registration.
It’s crucial to prepare your pets for the event to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. Before attending, please ensure that your dog wears a properly fitted collar and is secured with a 4ft or 6ft leash. For the safety of all participants, retractable leashes are not permitted. Additionally, all cats must be transported in carriers to maintain their safety and comfort throughout the event.
Here’s what you can expect at the Free Microchipping Event:
1. Arrive at the event location during the designated time frame.
2. There are no limits on the number of pets per household, so feel free to bring all your furry friends.
3. Upon arrival, please leave your pets in your vehicle and proceed to fill out one sheet of paperwork per pet.
4. Once your paperwork is completed, bring your pet out of your vehicle and wait for their name to be called. Please maintain a safe distance from other pets to prevent any potential conflicts.
5. Our experienced team will microchip your pet and perform a scan to confirm proper chip placement.
6. After the microchipping process, return to one of our volunteers who will assist you in registering your pet’s chip. Registration is essential and must be completed before leaving the event.
7. If you are bringing a cat, it is your responsibility to hold and control them during the microchipping process. Our volunteers are unable to hold cats, so please ensure your cat remains calm to facilitate the procedure.
Microchipping your pets is a simple yet effective way to safeguard them against the uncertainties of being lost or separated. By participating in this Free Microchipping Event, you are taking proactive steps to protect your furry family members and provide peace of mind for years to come.
