From 12:00 – 1:30 PM June 14 (Flag Day) American Legion Post will host an essay writing contest for two groups. First group 4th-8th graders; second group 9th-12th graders. Gift card prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category.
During this event, participants will also learn about the American Legion Oratorical program as well as the Boy’s/Girls State Programs conducted annually, that offer can lead to scholarship opportunities.
