Fast Bikes, Family Fun: MotoAmerica at Barber Motorsports Park

WHAT: How about 190 mph Superbikes and some family fun? MotoAmerica Superbikes at Barber is coming April 4-6, 2025. Enjoy qualifying on Friday and all-day racing Saturday & Sunday. Six classes of road racing will compete, including Superbike, Supersport, Stock 1000, Twins Cup, Talent Cup, and Royal Enfield Build. Train. Race. Meet over 120 riders in our open race paddock. VIP and camping access packages area available. Kids under 12 are admitted free with a paying adult. Bring the family for our Kids Zone and free carnival games. Tickets can be purchased for single-day events (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) or for all three days.

2024 Reigning MotoAmerica Champions
The 2024 reigning champions are available prior to the event for an interview to discuss the series and exciting racing that will be happening at Barber.
  • Josh Herrin (Superbike Champion) – Made history by winning his second Superbike Championship 11 years after securing his first title, proving his longevity and skill at the highest level of American motorcycle racing.
  • Mathew Scholtz (Supersport Champion) – A dominant force in the Supersport class, Scholtz’s journey showcases perseverance, adaptability, and the relentless pursuit of victory.
 
Kayla Yaakov: A Rising Star in Road Racing
At just 17 years old, Kayla Yaakov is making waves in the MotoAmerica paddock, breaking barriers and proving that she belongs at the front of the pack. After a standout 2024 season, she is eager to take on Barber Motorsports Park.
Her journey from a young talent to competing at the highest level of American road racing serves as an inspiring story for young racers, especially female riders looking to break into the sport.

MotoAmerica Executives 
MotoAmerica executives will also be on-site to discuss the organization’s 10-year anniversary last year and the continued growth of American road racing. Since acquiring AMA Pro Road Racing in 2015, MotoAmerica has revitalized the sport, expanding its fan base and bringing new levels of competition. The anniversary celebration last year marked a decade of progress, and executives will be available to share insights on the future of the series.
 
Build. Train. Race
The Royal Enfield Build. Train. Race. (BTR) program is another must-watch aspect of MotoAmerica’s diverse lineup. This unique initiative empowers women riders by giving them the opportunity to build their own race bikes, train under expert guidance, and compete on a national stage. The BTR class highlights the growth of women in motorsports and provides a platform for emerging talent to showcase their skills. Interviews with BTR riders and program leaders will shed light on the impact of this groundbreaking initiative and what it means for the future of motorcycle racing.
 
MotoAmerica’s Road to MotoGP – Talent Cup 
This season, MotoAmerica proudly debuts the Talent Cup, a groundbreaking initiative designed to give young American riders a direct path to the world stage. The U.S. hasn’t had a homegrown rider on the MotoGP grid since the legendary Nicky Hayden, but that could soon change. At the end of the season, five standout MotoAmerica Talent Cup riders will earn an invitation to the prestigious Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup—a proven launchpad for the sport’s next global stars.
