Wildflower Hike
Event by Cheaha State Park-Alabama ( https://www.facebook.com/CheahaStatePark )
19644 Hwy. 281, Delta, AL, United States, Alabama 36258
Join us as we take a walk in the woods and observe the beautiful native flowers! Learn to identify them and why they’re so important to the ecosystem. This hike will be about 2 miles round trip up and then back down the Lake Trail, over difficult and steep terrain. This is a CHALLENGING hike – the terrain is very steep and uneven, and requires stepping up, over, down, and around tree roots and rocks. We recommend bringing water, snacks, sturdy shoes, and trekking poles/a walking stick if needed.
Registration is not required for this program, but spots are limited and first come, first served. Those who register online are guaranteed a spot until full. Your gate fee gives you access to the entire park, and all programs happening that day.
