Anniston, AL – Anniston Museums and Gardens invites plant enthusiasts to join them at Longleaf Botanical Gardens on Thursday, June 20th, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a special event highlighting the diva-like dahlia.
Dahlias are renowned for their stunning blooms and unique care requirements. During the “Diva Dahlia” event, Master Gardener Betty Clark will share insights into successfully growing these vibrant plants. With decades of experience as an organic gardener and a background in diverse gardening techniques, including straw bale and raised bed gardens, Betty Clark’s expertise promises to enlighten attendees on the secrets to cultivating healthy dahlias.
The event is part of the Third Thursday program series and is priced at $5 per person, with free admission for AM&G Members. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to secure a spot.
Additionally, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and explore the Plant Sale taking place from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM the same day. The Plant Sale offers an opportunity to purchase a variety of plants, enhancing the gardening experience for attendees.
