Oxford, AL – FabArc Steel Supply, Inc., the largest steel subcontractor in Alabama and an AISC-certified fabrication facility, has announced the successful completion of the structural steel framework for a major food processing project in Robinson, Texas. Known internally as Project Mockingbird Plant II, the $14.3 million venture was led by contractor Dennis Group and marks a significant milestone in the development of a 310,000-square-foot dairy processing facility.
FabArc’s role in the project included fabricating and delivering more than 1,800 tons of structural steel, incorporating galvanized mechanical platforms and shop-assembled electrical platforms to meet the specific needs of the food industry.

Construction for the facility began in September 2024 and is expected to be completed and operational by 2026. The structure includes both primary and miscellaneous steel framing components designed to support the high-volume demands of milk processing.
