Anniston, AL – Per the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) on June 21, 2023, a multiple-vehicle accident near an interstate exit ramp in Coldwater, Alabama, resulted in the loss of life. ALEA reported the time as 3:19 a.m. that resulted in the death of Davis M. Turner, a 20-year-old Anniston resident. In the statement released by ALEA and the Calhoun Coroner the deceased was involved in a two vehicle accident at the 179 exit off I-20 in Coldwater when the vehicle he was driving failed to stop at a stop sign. He then stepped out of the vehicle and was hit by a third vehicle. ALEA will continue to investigate the incident.
