Fatal Crash Claims Life of Talladega Man

Talladega, AL – A single-vehicle crash unfolded on Saturday, March 2, at around 7:56 p.m., claiming the life of 32-year-old Cameron S. Gaston, a resident of Talladega. The incident occurred on Alabama 34 near Jeter Road, approximately six miles south of Lincoln, in Talladega County.

Cameron S. Gaston was fatally injured when the 2009 Ford Focus he was driving left the roadway and collided with a tree. Unfortunately, Gaston was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, exacerbating the severity of the injuries sustained. Emergency services responded promptly, but Gaston was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this stage, no further details regarding the events leading to the tragic incident have been released.
