Per the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:33 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, has claimed the life of a Lenoir City, Tenn., woman. Keiley J. Waldrop, 21, a pedestrian, attempted to cross U.S. 431 and was struck by a 2020 Freightliner Commercial Truck driven by Michael Kimbrough, 49, of Daphne. Waldrop was then struck by a 2004 Ford Ranger driven by Joshua Sexton, 23, of Ohatchee. Waldrop was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash which occurred on U.S. 431 near the 240 mile marker, approximately five miles north of Anniston. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
