Munford, AL – Per the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:30 am. Friday, April 21, has claimed the life of a Munford woman. Kelly D. Hamlin, 46, a pedestrian, was attempting to cross Alabama 21 when she was struck by a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Jeffrey Banks, 53, of Munford. Hamlin was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash which occurred on Alabama 21 near the 243 mile marker, within the city limits of Munford, in Talladega County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
