Federal Agents Arrest Seven: Major Drug, Gun, and Fraud Bust in Anniston

Anniston, AL – In a coordinated effort between federal agents and law enforcement, a high-stakes crackdown resulted in the arrest of seven individuals linked to a web of drug trafficking, gun-related offenses, and fraudulent activities. The operation, carried out on Wednesday, targeted a network operating across multiple locations.

Jamar Dariunte Clay, 36, of Anniston, stands accused of conspiracy to distribute or possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, along with multiple counts of distribution of the substance and utilizing a communication facility for drug trafficking.

Jonathan Tyree McRath, 39, also from Anniston, faces charges mirroring those of Clay, involving conspiracy, distribution, and the use of communication facilities for drug-related activities.

Demarcus Sharon Brown, 39, another Anniston resident, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and multiple counts of distribution.

Donarius Quinez Kincaid, 38, of Anniston, is facing charges related to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and multiple counts of using communication facilities for drug trafficking.

Brandon Jamal Jernigan, 30, of Anniston, is charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and multiple counts of using communication facilities for drug trafficking.

Hantson Alexander Clark, 32, from Tuscaloosa, is accused of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, distribution of both substances, and multiple counts of using communication facilities for drug trafficking.

Raregus Rice, 40, also from Tuscaloosa, faces charges of wire fraud and falsely representing a Social Security number.

Furthermore, three additional suspects were already in custody:

Michael Gardner Boone, 33, of Montgomery, faces charges of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute.

Terrence Antwon Stevens, 40, of Anniston, is accused of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute both substances, multiple counts of using communication facilities for drug trafficking, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Yannick Kenyon Woolf, 34, of Anniston, is charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with multiple counts of using communication facilities for drug trafficking.

This operation reflects the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies to dismantle criminal organizations involved in drug trafficking, firearm offenses, and fraudulent activities. The arrested individuals will now face legal proceedings as authorities work to ensure justice is served. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities aim to uncover further details and potential accomplices involved in these illicit operations.
