Anniston, AL – Join the City of Anniston in honoring the 62nd anniversary of the Freedom Riders on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 11th Street and Gurnee Avenue in Anniston. Special guests include Freedom Riders Charles Person and Hank Thomas. There will be music by KB Solomon, food and refreshments, and more. In the event of inclement weather, festivities will be moved to the Anniston First United Methodist Church.
