Weaver, AL – Get ready for a day of fun and philanthropy as Weaver welcomes the “Fun in the Sun Beachwear Contest and Charity Event,” organized by Natural Divas. Scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd, this family-friendly event will take place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Elwell Park.
The highlight of the event is the beachwear contest, where participants will showcase their best beach attire. With a $25 entry fee, the contest will see one winner crowned and three runner-ups recognized. Only 10 contestants will be accepted, and a $10 deposit is required to secure a spot. The beachwear contest kicks off at 1:00 PM, so contestants should arrive early to prepare.
In addition to the beachwear contest, the event offers a variety of activities and opportunities for everyone. Families can enjoy a hot dog, chips, and a Coke for just $5, and participate in the 50/50 split-the-pail raffle. There’s also a $5 raffle for a chance to win a 110″ family splash pad, perfect for cooling off in the summer heat.
A unique feature of the event is the Charity Ambassador contest. Participants are encouraged to donate “Loads of Love” – one dryer sheet, one laundry pod, and one sandwich bag. The individual who donates the most will be awarded a 5′ trophy and named Natural Divas Charity Ambassador. It’s important to note that you do not need to enter the beachwear contest to be eligible for the Charity Ambassador title, making it a great way for everyone to contribute to a good cause.
After the beachwear contest, families can join in the fun of a Flamingo Hunt on the splash pad, adding an extra layer of excitement to the afternoon.
