Oxford, AL – A community is rallying together to support the family of Brandy Rodgers, a 39-year-old woman from Oxford, Alabama, who tragically lost her life in a collision on Interstate 20 in Georgia. The accident occurred on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, as Rodgers was driving home after completing her shift as a registered nurse in Georgia. According to the Georgia State Patrol, Rodgers was driving a white Honda when it collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer as reported by the Calhoun Journal earlier last week.

Rodgers leaves behind her loving husband, Jason, and their six children. Jason, who is self-employed, now faces the unexpected and daunting challenge of navigating life without his wife, along with the immediate financial burden of final arrangements and ongoing family expenses.

In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the Rodgers family during this difficult time. The campaign aims to raise enough funds to cover Brandy’s funeral expenses and to help Jason offset other financial burdens resulting from this unexpected loss.

Bear and Sons

The GoFundMe page describes Brandy Rodgers as an amazing wife, mother, daughter, friend, and dedicated nurse. The organizers of the campaign emphasize the importance of community support, stating, “We appreciate your support, whether it is through a donation or by sharing this campaign with others who knew and loved Brandy. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated.”

At the time of publication, $14,555 had been raised towards the $20,000 goal. Those wishing to donate can visit the GoFundMe page at Support Brandy Rodgers’ Family in Their Loss.

The community’s efforts reflect a collective desire to honor Brandy Rodgers’ memory and provide tangible support to her grieving family.
