Multiple Pathways to Success
“We believe that investing in our youth is investing in the future of the Anniston community,” remarked Callie Heard, Marketing Recruitment Specialist at West Anniston Foundation. “By equipping young Alabamians with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in high-demand industries, we are not only preparing them for rewarding careers but also driving sustainable economic growth across our state, as eagerness for career awareness.”

Future Crafters: Youth Trades Day aims to inspire and empower the next generation of skilled workers that meets the future needs of Alabama’s industries. Through career awareness, the event seeks to bridge the gap of career understanding through awareness & exposure to various career pathways, creating an understanding of multiple pathways to success for Anniston’s youth.

“We commend Governor Kay Ivey for her unwavering commitment to advancing Alabama’s economic prosperity through investment in workforce development,” added Callie Heard. “Youth Trades Day embodies the spirit of career awareness and innovation to reach them young. As we know Alabama’s youth between the ages of 16-24 are disengaged from the workforce, to reach them we have to start early.”

Join us as we embark on this exciting journey towards a brighter, more prosperous future of the West Anniston community. Together, let us empower our youth, fuel economic growth, and build a legacy of success that will endure for generations to come.
