Gadsden Police Department Seeking Information in Death Investigation

Gadsden, AL – The Gadsden Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in an ongoing death investigation and is requesting any information that may aid in resolving the case.

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, officers responded to a report of a possible deceased person in the 2300 block of Forrest Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male inside a residence who was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Daniel Joseph Garmon Sr.

Gadsden Police investigators are urging anyone with information about this case to come forward. Detective Division can be reached directly at 256-549-4622. For those who prefer to remain anonymous, CrimeStoppers is offering a cash reward for tips leading to an arrest in this investigation.
