Gadsden, AL – The Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation has earned the highest possible rating—a Four-Star designation—from Charity Navigator, the nation’s leading independent evaluator of nonprofit organizations. This recognition reflects the Foundation’s strong financial health, operational transparency, and continued impact in supporting Gadsden State Community College.
The Four-Star Rating designates the Cardinal Foundation as an official “Give with Confidence” charity. Charity Navigator evaluates more than 230,000 nonprofit organizations annually, using comprehensive criteria that go beyond financial metrics to include leadership, adaptability, community engagement, and measurable impact.

Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and is dedicated to raising and managing private resources in support of Gadsden State Community College.
