Gadsden State Community College Celebrates Nursing Graduates in Pinning Ceremony

Gadsden State Health Sciences Division holds pinning ceremony

Gadsden, AL – Amidst an atmosphere of pride and achievement, the Health Sciences Division at Gadsden State Community College recently honored the newest cohort of nursing graduates during a poignant pinning ceremony. The event, a symbolic rite of passage in the nursing profession, celebrated the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the students who have completed their associate degree in Registered Nursing.

The 2024 graduating class comprises a diverse group of individuals, each bringing their unique talents and aspirations to the healthcare field. Among the distinguished graduates are:

During the ceremony, several students were honored with awards recognizing their outstanding achievements. Carley Anna Holman received the prestigious Florence Nightingale Award, a testament to her unwavering commitment to compassionate nursing care.

Hannah Latimer was recognized with the Excellence in Academic Achievement Award for achieving the highest grade point average among her peers. Additionally, a cohort of students was awarded the Academic Achievement Award for demonstrating above-average grades and exceptional performance throughout their academic journey.
