Gadsden State Community College Celebrates Scholarship Winners at Cardinal Foundation Luncheon

Gadsden, AL – Gadsden State Community College’s Cardinal Foundation hosted a heartfelt luncheon on Thursday to recognize scholarship donors and applaud the achievements of scholarship recipients.

Dr. Kathy Murphy, President of Gadsden State, expressed gratitude to the attendees, acknowledging their choice to support the college. She commended the donors for their generosity and emphasized the transformative impact of their contributions on the academic journeys of students.

Inspirational words were shared by Ted Turgeon, a Gadsden State graduate turned successful investment advisor, who reflected on his own journey from uncertainty to achievement. Turgeon credited Gadsden State as a pivotal factor in his success, highlighting the profound impact of education on personal growth and opportunity.
