Gadsden, AL – Gadsden State Community College, in partnership with the Etowah County District Attorney’s Office and the Etowah County Board of Education, is inviting law enforcement personnel, first responders, business leaders, and school officials to participate in a free Public Information and Branding Class. The course, designed to strengthen communication and branding skills, will be held on Tuesday, October 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Science Building Auditorium on Gadsden State’s main campus.

This one-day event provides participants with the tools to effectively manage communications and foster a strong, positive public image for their organizations. Attendees will also earn seven hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs), with lunch provided.

“In today’s fast-paced world, clear communication is essential for maintaining public trust,” said Gadsden State Chief of Police Jay Freeman. “We aim to provide these professionals with the tools they need to share important information in a way that truly resonates and fosters confidence and unity.”

The course will be led by guest speaker Corey Dobridnia, a distinguished Public Information Officer from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. Dobridnia, recognized as Public Information Officer of the Year by several organizations, brings extensive experience in public communications, making her an ideal leader for this comprehensive training session.

This class is an opportunity for professionals across various fields to hone their communication strategies and enhance their organizational branding, ultimately contributing to stronger relationships with the public.
