Candy with the Cardinals will feature a variety of fun activities, including face painting, candy corn art, and bookmark design stations. “We will have craft sessions offering a fun way to create keepsakes,” Patterson added. “There’s something for everyone with the games and activities we’ve planned.”

In addition to games, attendees will be entertained by the vibrant sounds of the Gadsden State Show Band. They will also have a chance to meet members of Gadsden State’s sports teams, including baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, cross country, and tennis.

The event also serves as an opportunity for prospective students to learn more about Gadsden State’s academic, technical, and health science programs. “Enrollment specialists will be on-site to provide admissions information and discuss the variety of programs we offer,” Patterson noted.

Gadsden State’s Ayers campus in Anniston will host its own Candy with the Cardinals from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on October 24 at the Cheaha Career Center lawn, featuring similar games, prizes, and festive activities.

Other events on the calendar include Movie on the Lawn on October 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cherokee Campus, with popcorn and drinks provided. The Trunk or Treat event will take place on October 25 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the front Academic Building parking lot of the Cherokee Campus, featuring candy, games, face painting, and a photo op with Gadsden State’s mascot, Swoop.

All events are free and open to the public, offering a fun-filled month for the community.
