Gadsden, AL – Gadsden State Community College has been named the 2025 Second Quarter “Truck Driving School of the Quarter” by Schneider, one of the nation’s leading transportation and logistics companies. The recognition places Gadsden State among the top truck driving programs in the country, with Schneider partnering with more than 500 training schools nationwide.
The award was presented on Tuesday, Sept. 9, during a recognition event at the Truck Driving Training Lot on Gadsden State’s Wallace Drive Campus. Schneider representatives brought a truck and driver to the event, allowing students and staff to engage directly and capture photos marking the occasion.
“We are proud of the hard work and dedication that has earned Gadsden State this recognition,” said Baisha Woody, director of Skills Training at Gadsden State. “Our trainers and students continually demonstrate excellence in training and safety, and we are honored that Schneider has recognized those efforts.”
