A Georgia man wanted in the connection of a murder in Dekalb County was taken into custody earlier today in Anniston. The U.S. Marshal Service, Gulf Coast Regional Task Force, learned that that Aqontise Phanique Glenn was in the Anniston area and notified, the 7th Judicial Major Crimes Unit and the Anniston Police Department, Street Crimes Team.
They immediately began to look for Glenn and were able to develop information as to his exact location. Glenn was taken into custody without any incident and is currently in the Calhoun County Jail being held on a fugitive from justice warrant (stemming from the Georgia Malice Murder Warrant) from Dekalb County, Georgia. Dekalb County is a part of the Metro-Atlanta and is East of Fulton County.
