Get Ready to Party! Decades Dance Hits the Floor in Anniston

Decades Dance

Anniston, AL – Get ready to travel back in time at the Decades Dance on Saturday, December 14th, from 7–11 PM at the Anniston Museums and Gardens. This exciting fundraiser will take you straight into the heart of the 80s, with an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and fun. Manny and Heather from Acosta Entertainment will be spinning all the best 80s hits, and you can even send in your song requests ahead of time to ensure your favorites are played.

Come hungry and enjoy a taco bar from Taco & Tequila, plus delicious desserts from Bonnie Ray’s Bake Shoppe. Your ticket includes two drink tickets for beer, wine, or signature 80s-themed cocktails, like the Purple Rain (vodka), Miami Spice (cranberry margarita), and the mocktail Little Red Corvette. If you need a little extra liquid courage for the dance floor, additional drink tickets can be purchased for $5 per cocktail and $4 for beer or wine. All proceeds from drink purchases will support the Anniston Museums and Gardens’ educational and exhibit programs.

Get into the spirit of the 80s by dressing up in your best era-inspired attire—whether it’s glam-rock, neon, punk, or preppy. There will be a costume contest with prizes for both the Best Dressed 80s Outfit and the Best Pop Icon Lookalike, so make sure you bring your A-game. You’ll also find an open-air photo booth with 80s-themed props and a balloon arch backdrop for perfect photo ops throughout the night.

Tickets for the event are $50 per person, with a special rate of $35 for designated drivers. Anniston Museums and Gardens members can enjoy a $5 discount by logging in to apply their savings. This event is for those 21 and up, and every ticket purchased helps fund the growth of the museum’s educational programs. The night wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of sponsors like Sunny King Automotive Group, Miller Sand & Landscape, First Bank of Alabama, and others. So dust off your leg warmers, tease your hair, and join us for a rad night that supports local history and culture while celebrating the best of the 80s.
