PIEDMONT, AL — History enthusiasts and residents alike are invited to explore Highland Cemetery in Piedmont during a guided historical tour on Saturday, October 25, from 6 to 7 p.m. The event will be led by local historian Quinton Kirk, who will share stories of several individuals laid to rest at the foothills of the mountain.
Participants will gather at the flagpole in Highland Cemetery at 6 p.m. to begin the one-hour tour. Kirk’s presentation will highlight the lives and legacies of notable figures buried within the historic grounds, providing a unique look into the community’s past.
