Haney and White Enterprise Completes Acquisition of Oxford-Based B.R. Williams Trucking

Haney and White Enterprise Acquires B.R. Williams Trucking and B.R. Williams LTL

Oxford, AL – Shepherdsville, Kentucky-based Haney and White Enterprise has announced the successful acquisition of B.R. Williams Trucking and B.R. Williams LTL Logistics, a well-established transportation firm headquartered in Oxford, Alabama. This strategic move consolidates four major transportation entities under one umbrella, forming a new integrated services company, BRW.

The acquisition brings together Haney and White Logistics, an asset-light logistics provider known for its strong sales and management framework; Running Ox Logistics, which excels in freight brokerage with advanced technology solutions; and the newly acquired B.R. Williams Trucking and B.R. Williams LTL Logistics, which contribute substantial assets, a robust customer network, and extensive capabilities in trucking, warehousing, and logistics.

The newly formed BRW will operate with a workforce of over 300 employees across its locations in Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. The combined company will initially generate annual revenues approaching $100 million, with expectations to reach $250 million by 2030 through planned synergies and growth strategies. BRW will manage approximately 175 tractors, over 700 trailers, and five warehouses spanning more than one million square feet.

Nate Haney, Co-Founder of Haney and White Enterprise, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “The integration of these four companies creates a dynamic and forward-thinking enterprise built on integrity. We are excited to leverage this opportunity for market growth and long-term sustainability, inspired by B.R. Williams’ legacy of excellence and customer commitment.”

The merger will enhance BRW’s service offerings, expanding its capacity in managed freight, brokerage, asset trucking, and warehousing. This strategic consolidation aims to drive revenue growth across various sectors, including automotive manufacturing, e-commerce, and government contracts. The company plans to strengthen its presence in the Southeast corridor from Indiana to Florida and replicate its customer bases across the upper Midwest and Southern U.S.

B.R. Williams Trucking, a family-owned business since 1958, was previously led by CEO and President Greg Brown, who succeeded his mother-in-law and co-founder Ruth Williams in 1992. Despite the change in ownership, the company remains dedicated to providing reliable trucking, warehousing, and logistics solutions.

“I am deeply grateful for the support of the B.R. Williams family and our loyal employees,” said Brown. “With Haney and White at the helm, B.R. Williams is set to achieve even greater success and solidify its leadership in the industry.”

Mike White, Co-Founder of Haney and White Enterprise, also commented, “We are excited about this acquisition and the future of BRW. Our goal is to maintain the high standards of service while exploring new growth and innovation opportunities. We look forward to working with B.R. Williams’ outstanding team to reach our ambitious goals.”
