Girls
PIEDMONT 48, RANDOLPH COUNTY 24: Josie Young scored 12 of her game-high 14 points in the first quarter, helping Piedmont to take a 25-1 lead. The Bulldogs led 42-3 at halftime.
Young hit two 3-pointers.
Carson Young also hit two treys on the way to eight points, and Melanie Studdard hit a trey en route to eight points.
Randolph County got 11 points from Lizzie Milam, all in the third quarter. She hit three 3-pointers.
CENTRAL-CLAY 41, RANBURNE 38: Central-Clay’s Ramyah Billingsley hit a 3-pointer on the way to 17 points Mia Lindsey added nine points, including a 3-pointer, and Zykeria Heflin added eight points.
Brylee Bailey led Ranburne with 13 points, and Jadie Phillips added nine. Aubrey Anglin hit two 3-pointers on the way to nine points.
Boys
CENTRAL-CLAY 49, WHITE PLAINS 39: Damauri Whetstone led the Vols with 11 points, and Kevin Cherry added 10, including one 3-pointer.
They also got eight joints (one trey) from Zion Newell and seven from DeShaun Gibbons.
Ethan Turner paced White Plains with 11 points, and the Wildcats got eight apiece from Crew Martin and Cash Pritchett. Martin hit two 3-pointers.
