OXFORD, AL — Historic Main Street Oxford is gearing up for a full day of autumn celebration as two of its most anticipated seasonal events — the Fall Market on Main and the Witches Ride & Walk on Main — take over downtown on Saturday, October 18.
The Fall Market on Main will run from noon until 6 p.m. at Simmons Park, featuring local artisans, crafters, and food vendors. Visitors can explore a wide selection of seasonal items and enjoy shopping at Oxford’s distinctive downtown stores and eateries. The event highlights the charm of Historic Downtown Oxford while supporting local makers and small businesses.
As evening arrives, the 6th Annual Witches Ride & Walk on Main will bring Halloween spirit to the heart of the city. Beginning at 6 p.m., participants are invited to don their best witch hats, costumes, and creative bike decorations for the festive parade through downtown. Candy giveaways and lively crowds add to the family-friendly atmosphere.
Following the ride, the celebration continues at The Terrortorium Haunted House & Amusements, where attendees can enjoy a costume contest, prizes, and a free live concert by Vintage Vixens from 7:30–9 p.m.
Registration is $20 for adults (includes commemorative t-shirt), $5 for students ages 6–18, and free for children under five. Walkers and bicyclists are welcome; motorized vehicles are not permitted.
