JACKSONVILLE, AL — Local youth will have a chance to spin into summer with a fun and energetic event at the Jacksonville Public Library. On Friday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m., the library will host Hoop for Fitness, a free hula hooping workshop for ages 10 to 18.
Participants will learn basic hula hoop tricks and beginning hoop dance techniques in a supportive and engaging environment. The event encourages physical activity while also teaching coordination, rhythm, and creativity through movement.
There is no fee to attend, and all equipment will be provided. Whether trying out hula hooping for the first time or looking to improve their skills, young attendees are sure to enjoy this unique and active learning opportunity.
